Norwich University would like to celebrate International Women’s Day today by saluting one of our key administrators, Carol Spaulding. The Northfield native is a living testament to the power hard work and perseverance play in reaching your life’s goals.

Beginning her journey at Norwich in 1995 as a Custodian, Spaulding has gone on to advance to the position of Student Orientation Manager for the Norwich College of Graduate Studies and presently holds three degrees - of which two are from Norwich University.

Nominated by a NU senior administrator, it only takes a few minutes of speaking with Spaulding to understand exactly why she is so highly respected by all. Crediting her Christian faith as the source of her stalworth strength, Spaulding says that the biblical passage Philippians 4:19 sums up the “how” to the “why” of her life.

Proud to be the wife for life to her husband Ron, the couple are the proud parents of two adult children and devoted grandparents to three grandchildren.

Norwich University wouldn’t exist today without the strength and dedication of individuals like Spaulding. So, join me today as we take a moment to celebrate the indomitable majesty that is Carol Spaulding.
